Evynlore’s Creation Story
Forty-eight years after the Great Deluge.

Part One
The Delnor people once ruled the Dellavein empire, the first empire to rise to power after the worldwide flood on Earth. The Delnor worshiped Elëázar as their God, and recognized him as the Creator of the heavens and earth. An ice age now ensued and covered the Dellavien empire. Still, the Delnor ruled and prospered. Following Dellavein, Babylon and Egypt emerged into empires with new gods, called morrs. These morrs were demonic spirits opposing Elëázar, aiming to divert humanity's loyalty. At this time the Delnor stayed faithful to Elëázar, and Elëázar blessed them with the Delnor Senses (senses going beyond the five that every human is born with. Some Delnor could now talk to animals, where as others could dream the future, and there were even some who could persuade someone to do or feel anything). These supernatural senses were given to help them resist the temptation of magic, which the morr’s offered as an incentive for humans to worship them instead of the Elëázar. A hundred years past and the Delnor people forgot their god and integrated morrs into their belief system, desiring magic. It was now that the ice began to melt and the land started to tear apart. King Strightus sought to save Dellavein by invoking the strongest morr, Mortifer. However Mortifer could do nothing to stop the earth from dropping chunks of land into the sea, nor could he prevent whole continents from drifting away from the mainland.

Part Two
And so to preserve Dellavein, King Strightus then called on Elëázar and asked the God of his ancestors if he could keep the remaining land of Dellavein together? Elëázar said he could preserve the empire by placing Dellavein in a new dimension, a new world named Evynlore; for he intended for Earth’s land masses to break apart and he would not stop them. He would however make the king a new world where his empire’s land could stay together, under the condition that no magic or morrs would enter it. King Strightus agreed, but later hesitated to go to Evynlore because he possessed great magic and didn’t want to lose his sorcery. King Strightus had an idea of how to trick the Maker and have the best of both worlds. His son’s wife was named Telleah, and she loved worshiping the morrs more than anyone else. If she and her husband conceived a child, while she carried that child within her, she could drink the blood of the gods to give the child the ability of magic in its DNA. Then that child could be the one to open a portal between the worlds and allow magic into Evynlore. Mortifer had given the king this idea and offered some of his own blood, which no human had ever drank. Telleah agreed enthusiastically.

Part Three
However, Elëázar confronted them before he let them walk through the cave which led to Evynlore. As the all-knowing Maker, he knew Telleah's child was evil due to the morr’s blood. Elëázar had already promised them their new world, so he would not stop them from entering it, but he warned if they brought such evil with them it would break the covenant the king and he had made. Breaking the vow would bring death to both worlds, and to them personally— the king, his son, Telleah and the evil child. But King Strightus went to his god Mortifer to ask what he should do, and Mortifer told the king the Maker was lying and they would not die if they continued down this path; and die they did. Before Shadden, the child, was even old enough to assume the throne he killed King Strightus with a knife and made himself king. And so King Strightus died as the Maker warned. Then Shadden let Mortifer into Evynlore, for his mother had been sick ever since she drank the morr’s blood and now she was dying. Mortifer came but said he could not save Telleah for all humans die who drink a morr’s blood. Death is the cost for magic. Shadden was angry because his mother had not been told this detail, and he swore to kill Mortifer for his deception. But Mortifer, ever the Deceiver, whispered with great influence into the ear of Shadden’s son, Prince Natheteron. He told Prince Natheteron to kill his father and if he did, Mortifer would give Prince Natheteron greater magic than anyone had ever known.

Part Four
So Prince Natheteron, killed his father, with the same dagger his father had killed King Strightus. Mortifer then told Prince Natheteron for him to possess the ultimate magic he had promised him, he had to link the worlds so all the other morrs could come into Evynlore. Prince Natheteron cut his hand and mixed his blood with the blood sacrifice of his father and this reaction made the portals that link the worlds. When the portals opened, morrs from Earth and their magic entered Evynlore and Prince Natheteron did become the greatest sorcerer of his time. The Maker saw this and was sad that his creation had chosen evil. He had given both Prince Natheteron and his father Shadden (even with his tainted blood) a chance to choose good, but they had not. He spoke a new law into the framework of the new world, that from this point onward, whoever made a covenant to him, or a vow in his name, was bound to their word. And, if they were to break it, they would die instantly the moment they broke their oath. Therefore, vows in Evynlore are rarely spoken even to this day.
Seaphus, was the great uncle to Prince Natheteron, having been King Strightus’s younger son, and he was the only member of the royal family to oppose magic and morrs in Evynlore.

Part Five
Seaphus knew the Maker’s warning was true, that making portals between the worlds would bring about catastrophic consequences. He had been there the day the Maker warned them magic in Evynlore would bring about her end. Seaphus learned that his brother and Mortifer planned to go one step past making portal keys, they planned on opening a permanent portal to bridge the worlds. This would cause the worlds to converge back into one, killing millions. King Jaiphus didn’t care how many died as long as he lived and had his throne. He wanted to reclaim the Lands of Dellavien and was not satisfied with the new world the Maker had given him. Seaphus sought to prevent this disaster and he called upon the Maker. Elëázar sent Seaphus a dream, through his Delnor Sense, showing him the future all the way to the end of time. But when Seaphus woke he couldn’t understand the Maker’s plan for the dream had showed the permanent portal being made. Wasn’t the Maker going to stop his evil brother, King Jaiphus?
And so the Maker sent one of his angelic servants, a strong Malakh named Mydar, to appear before Seaphus in person and explain the plan to Seaphus. Mydar revealed to Seaphus how the evil that King Strightus, Telleah, Shadden, and Prince Natheteron had done would be fixed by a descendant of theirs in the distant future. The Maker would allow the permanent portal to be created, but he would not allow it to open nor connect the world’s until the heir born to reverse the calamity was ready. This revelation would be known as the prophecy of the Twelve Scrolls. Mydar told Seaphus to write the dream down and all that had been explained to him, and the prophecy would bring hope to all generations. Through the chosen descendant, Evynlore would be led back to serving the Maker and a time of peace would come into the world, before the end of time came. So Seaphus wrote the Prophecy of the Twelve Scrolls about the Child of Peace.
